Specialized in residential rehab. Detail-focused finish work. Licensed and insured.
Flooring & Finish Work
The details that make a house feel finished. A floor is only as good as what's under it and how it meets the walls — we focus on the small things that separate a good install from a great one.
-
LVP Flooring
Expert installation of luxury vinyl plank — proper subfloor prep and leveling, moisture barrier where it's needed, tight seams, and clean transitions at every doorway. We undercut jambs and casing so planks slide beneath the trim instead of being caulked against it.
-
Finish Carpentry
Baseboards, shoe molding, window and door casing, and crown molding with tight miters and caulked, paint-ready joints. We also re-hang and adjust interior doors so they latch and swing the way they should.
-
Interior Painting
The finish is 80% prep: patching, sanding, caulking gaps, and taping clean lines before the first coat goes on. Walls, ceilings, trim, and cabinets — crisp edges, even coverage, and furniture and floors protected the whole time.
-
Tile Repair & Small Installs
Cracked tile replacement, re-grouting, and small backsplash or bathroom-floor installs that don't justify a full tile crew.
Finish Electrical & Plumbing
The fixture upgrades that modernize a room in an afternoon. Code-aware, neat, and tidy — and we leave the work area cleaner than we found it.
-
Electrical Fixtures & Devices
Receptacle and GFCI upgrades, smart switches and dimmers, ceiling fans (including bracing for fan-rated boxes), and modern lighting fixture replacements — entryway, kitchen, vanity, and exterior.
-
Plumbing Fixtures
Vanity and faucet installations, toilet replacements, garbage disposal swaps, showerheads, and supply-line / shut-off valve replacements. Fresh, clean caulk lines around tubs, showers, and sinks.
-
Where We Draw the Line
Panel work, new circuits, and drain re-piping belong with a licensed electrician or plumber — and we'll tell you that up front and point you to someone good.
General Maintenance
The "to-do" list items that don't fit a specialty box. We bundle them into a single visit whenever possible — one trip charge, several things crossed off your list.
-
Drywall Patching & Texture Matching
Doorknob holes, settling cracks, water-stain repairs, and old anchor holes — feathered, textured to match, and invisible after paint. One of the most-requested repairs we do.
-
Doors & Windows
Sticking doors planed and re-hung, sagging hinges fixed, new hardware and deadbolts installed, screens re-screened, and drafty frames sealed up.
-
Mounting & Assembly
TVs mounted into studs, shelving and curtain rods hung level, grab bars anchored properly, and furniture or fixture assembly done right the first time.
-
"Honey-Do" List Items
The small things you've been meaning to get to. Text us the whole list — that's exactly what the one-hour minimum is for.
Exterior & Seasonal
Southern Illinois weather is hard on a house — humid summers, freeze-thaw winters, and storms in between. A little exterior upkeep each season prevents the expensive repairs later.
-
Deck & Porch Repairs
Cracked board replacement, loose railing fixes, step repairs, and clean-and-reseal jobs that add years to a deck's life.
-
Gutters & Drainage
Gutter cleaning, re-securing sagging runs, and downspout extensions that move water away from your foundation — cheap insurance against ice dams and a wet basement.
-
Caulking & Weather Sealing
Re-caulking siding joints, windows, and door frames; weatherstripping; and winterizing exterior faucets before the first hard freeze.
-
Siding & Trim Spot Repairs
Storm-damaged vinyl siding sections, rotted trim and fascia boards replaced and painted to match — fixed before water finds its way in.
Most-Requested Quick Jobs
Not sure if your project "counts"? These are the jobs we get asked about most — nearly all of them are a single visit.
Don't see yours? Text a photo — if we can't do it, we'll tell you who can.
